About the Magazine

The Alchemical Art Magazine is a curated, digital-first publication showcasing emerging and independent artists from around the world.

This is an editorial platform, not a competition.

We publish thoughtful, visually strong features that place artists and their work in context — allowing audiences to understand not just what you make, but why you make it.

The magazine is open theme and multidisciplinary, welcoming artists working across painting, photography, digital art, illustration, mixed media, sculpture (digitally represented), and experimental practices.

This opportunity is designed for artists who want to be seen, contextualised, and taken seriously.

Who This Is For

This open call is for artists who:

  • Are serious about their creative practice

  • Want professional editorial visibility, not just a social post

  • Value thoughtful presentation and narrative context

  • Are emerging or independent, at any career stage

  • Want something meaningful to share with collectors, curators, and opportunities

You do not need prior publications or gallery representation to apply.

What Selected Artists Receive

Artists selected for The Alchemical Art Magazine receive a professionally curated editorial feature that offers more than surface-level exposure.

Your feature includes:

  • Editorial Presentation
Your work is presented within a curated digital magazine, framed with narrative context that helps audiences understand your practice, themes, and vision.

  • Global Digital Visibility
The magazine is shared with an international audience and promoted across The Alchemical Art platforms, increasing reach and long-term discoverability.

  • Professional Context & Credibility
Editorial features signal seriousness and professionalism — something artists can confidently include in portfolios, bios, grant applications, and submissions.

  • Ongoing Opportunities
Featured artists may be considered for future exhibitions, interviews, special curatorial projects, or promotional opportunities.

  • Shareable, Lasting Asset
Your feature becomes a permanent, shareable publication you can link, archive, and return to.

Annita Apostolidou Platis

“Being featured in the inaugural issue of The Alchemical Art Magazine was an important moment in my artistic journey.

The beautifully curated pages dedicated to my interview and artworks offered not only global visibility, but also a profound sense of belonging to a community that values authenticity, emotion, and visionary storytelling. Participating in the EROS Virtual Exhibition and seeing my art displayed on a digital billboard in Melbourne—one of the world’s great cultural cities—was a moment I will always cherish. The professionalism, kindness, and dedication of your team made me feel supported and understood as an international artist. I look forward to continuing our collaboration and sharing new chapters of my creative path with you.”

"The Alchemical Art is a place of high quality. In this space, I feel I can expand.

So often, the limits are too narrow to express oneself freely and peacefully—but in this gallery, it’s the opposite. Here, I feel I can grow. And most importantly: I feel understood. And for me, that’s the most important feeling of all."
