Artist Bio & Artwork Details:

Kanika Sahijwani is an emerging contemporary artist from Delhi, India, who is committed to using her distinctive style of painting to capture the essence of the ordinary. She was born in 1996, and since then, she has honed a technique that revolves around letting her stream of consciousness direct the painting process.

The result is a body of work that combines textural abstract painting with mixed media that is both introspective and thought-provoking.

Kanika's dedication to her craft has already been recognized through her participation in group shows at the London Transport Museum as part of the London Delhi Metro Project in 2010, and more recently at the Stainless Gallery in New Delhi in 2022. She was also a part of group summer show “Namaisha” at National Gallery of Modern Art (2022).
